CHINGFORD GREEN REGION - (E4 ROADS) 20 M.P.H. ZONE - VARIOUS TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES- (T31b(20))
The Waltham Forest (20 m.p.h. Zone) (Chingford Green E4 region) (No. *) Speed Limit Order 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council, in accordance with Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980, the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 as amended, proposes to:

(a) introduce new speed humps in:

i. Buxton Road (BUX) between (1) Nos.20 and 28 BUX (x1), (2) Nos. 3 to 15 BUX and the Chingford United Reformed Church and its associated Sunday School (x1);
ii. Connaught Avenue (CON) outside (1) No. 42 Mallard Court, CON (x1), (2) Nos. 10 and 16 CON (x1);
iii. Eglington Road (EGL) - between Nos. 8 and 13 EGL;
iv. Frederica Road (FRD) between Nos.13 and 21 FRD (x1);
v. Mornington Road (MOR) between Nos. 39 and 45 MOR (x1),
vi. Mount View Road (MTV) between (1) Nos. 1, 14 and 16 MTV (x1), (2) Nos. 32 and 34 MTV(x1);
vii. Parkhill Road (PKH) outside the Police Station and the flank wall of No. 1 The Green Walk;
viii. The Drive (DRV) - between Nos. 11 and 15 DRV;
ix. Woodberry Way (WOD) between (1) Nos. 35 and 39 WOD (x1), (2) Nos. 11 and 13 WOD (x1);

(b) introduce a raised speed table at the junction intersection of:

i. Buxton Road, Station Road and Garfield Road ('crossroads/intersection)
ii. Eglington Road and Connaught Avenue ('crossroads);
iii. The Drive and Connaught Avenue ('crossroads);
iv. Kings Head Hill (KHH) and Woodberry Way (T intersection - between Nos. 5 and 13a KHH and 'into Woodberry Way)

(c) introduce a raised speed table on existing pedestrian refuge island crossing point:

i. in Kings Head Hill (KHH) between Nos. 26 and 30 KHH; and
ii. in Station Road (STN) outside Nos. 174 to 180 STN;

'unless otherwise stated between properties, each table mentioned in item 1(b) will extend up to a distance of 10 metres into each road situated at a junction intersection or crossroads mentioned (except 1(b)(i) where item 2b. will apply to Station Road), or if a standalone table (item 1(c)), up to 12 metres in length;
NBI All road/speed humps and tables would be elevated sections of carriageway, between 75 and 100 millimetres higher at their highest point than the surrounding carriageway, or at an equal level with the surrounding pavement and extending across the full width of the carriageway, including the gradients. All blended crossing, road/speed humps and table lengths mentioned in this notice above include the gradients.

NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 proposes to create a speed table on all "Zebra', signalised or unregulated pedestrian crossing points in Station Road (STN) at the following locations

a. between Nos. 15 and 17 STN;
b. between Nos. 93 and 101 STN
each speed table would be up to 12 metres in length including the gradients;

3. Introduce a 20-m.p.h. speed limit covering the roads or parts of roads mentioned in the Schedule to this Notice (in the case of all roads mentioned this would be reducing the speed limit from 30 m.p.h. except where specified in the Schedule);

4. Any person desiring to object to or to make any other representation with regards to the measures set out in items land 2 above, or the Order mentioned in item 3 above should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS or by emailing: traffic.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk quoting reference T31b(20) - Chingford Green Area region E4 - 20 m.p.h. speed limit zone by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

5.
