1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest ('the Council') propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be, in Wallwood Road E11:-
(a) to provide new 'LSN' permit holders parking places, which would operate between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm on Monday to Friday, on (1) the north-west side outside Nos. 52-54, 58-60, 60-62 and 64-68 Wallwood Road, and at two locations at the side of No. 23 Woodriffe Road; and (2) on the south-east side outside Nos. 67a, 69-71, 73-75 and 79-81 Wallwood Road;
(b) to introduce new lengths of 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) on uncontrolled kerbside between the permit holders parking places referred to above, on the north-west side between the common boundary of Nos. 50 and 52 Wallwood Road and its junction with Woodriffe Road, and on the south-east side between its junctions with Queens Road and Kings Road; and
(c) to include property Nos. 52-68 inclusive (evens) and Nos. 67a-81 (odds) Wallwood Road E11 in the eligibility list for 'LSN' parking permits.
'LSN' residents and business permits are charged on a basis of C02 emissions (or, for older vehicles, engine size) and number of vehicles registered to a household. Residents visitor permits are obtainable as paperless permits or as scratch-cards at a rate of 60p/hour. during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive (except Bank Holidays), until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or to make any other representation should send a statement in writing of their objection or representation, in the case of an objection, stating the grounds on which it is made, to Traffic Orders, Resident Services, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS, or via e-mail to traffic.
