CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO MAKE PERMANENT EXISTING TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS - MONTPELIER ROAD, PURLEY
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.21) Order 2020 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places)
(No.22) Order 2020 The Croydon (Traffic Movement) (No.5) Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 29 December 2020 made the above Traffic Orders under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make permanent the existing temporary one-way working arrangement, waiting restrictions and relocation of a disabled bay in Montpelier Road, as detailed below.

(i) one-way working will be made permanent in Montpelier Road from its junction with Biddulph Road towards its junction with Kingsdown Avenue (the section of Montpelier Road between its junction with Brighton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Montpelier Road would remain two-way);

(ii) the disabled bay in Montpelier Road that was situated immediately south of the footpath leading to Nos. 59 to 65 Montpelier Road will be permanently relocated to a position immediately north of that footpath;

(iii) temporary waiting restrictions prohibiting parking "at any time" in Montpelier Road will be made permanent, as follows:

(a) on the north-west side - from a point 4 metres south-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Road to a point 10 metres north-east of the junction opposite the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Montpelier Road;

(b) on the south-east side - from a point 4 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Road to the common boundary of Nos. 90 and 92 Montpelier Road.

3. The general effect of the Order will also be to amend the map-based tiles to the Schedules attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the arrangements as they exist on site.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 01 January 2021 and of all associated Orders can be inspected (by appointment only) between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF OFF-STREET CAR PARK WADDON DEVELOPMENT RESIDENTIAL CAR PARK The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No.6) Traffic Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 29 December 2020 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend the existing description of the area covered by the Waddon Development Residential Car Park to the description shown below, which takes into account more recent boundary changes.

Waddon Development Residential Car Park
The area of land accessed from Purley Way and bounded to the north by Waddon Leisure Centre Car Park, to the east by Nos. 1 to 45 Propeller Crescent, to the south by the northern boundary of Harris Primary Academy, Purley Way, and to the west by Purley Way.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 04 January 2021, can be inspected by appointment only, from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE OPERATIONAL HOURS OF A PEDESTRIAN ZONE OUTSIDE A SCHOOL DUNSFOLD RISE, FAIRFIELD WAY & MEADOW RISE, COULSDON THE CROYDON (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO.4) TRAFFIC ORDER 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 29 December 2020 made the above Traffic Order under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend the times when motorised vehicles are prohibited from entering the streets listed in the heading of this notice in the afternoon from the existing times (of 2.30pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday) to the new times of 2.00pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday. The times of the morning restriction and the exemption for those holding a valid permit issued by the Council will remain unchanged.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 01 January 2021 and of all associated Orders can be inspected (by appointment only) between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CHRISTIAN FIELDS & COVINGTON WAY. NORBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas mains replacement works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Christian Fields and Covington Way.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) the junction of Christian Fields with Covington Way will be closed;

b) any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the works will be introduced as necessary.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for traffic will be via Gibson's Hill, Green Lane, Norbury Hill and vice versa, as appropriately signed. Access will be maintained for residents via Green Lane.

4. The Order will come into operation on 04 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17 January. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water service connection, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Cliffe Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Cliffe Road at its junction with Selsdon Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 11 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 4 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The Prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install electric vehicle parking bays and charging points they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the sections of road listed in the Schedule to this Notice from the dates specified.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 11 January 2021 and remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in the roads listed in the Schedules to this Notice.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the roads listed in column one of Schedule one to this Notice will be closed at their junctions with the roads listed in column two of that Schedule. Diversion routes for traffic during the closures will be as shown in column three of that Schedule.

3. During the works parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the roads listed in Schedule two to this Notice.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26 April 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
