ROAD JUNCTION - (E17 ROADS) - ZEBRA CROSSING PROVISION AND EXTENSION OF SPEED TABLE - (TS(21))
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council, in accordance with Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980, the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 as amended, proposes to extend an existing raised speed table situated in Winns Avenue - (at its junction with Priory Court) westward by 9 metres.

NB/ The speed table extension would be an elevated section of carriageway, between 75 and 100 millimetres (5mm) higher at their highest point than the surrounding carriageway, or at an equal level with the surrounding pavement and extending across the full width of the carriageway, Including the gradients (under section 90 of the Highways Act 1980).

2. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 proposes to create a raised (speed table) "pedestrian" crossing in:

(a) Priory Court (PC)- so that the centre of the crossing is situated 5 metres north of the northern kerb line of Winns Avenue. Associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times, will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing extending northwards to the northern boundary of No. 1a/b PC and southward to a point 15 metres south of the southern kerb line of Winns Avenue (extending across Winns Avenue and into South Countess Road); and

(b) Winns Avenue (Wl) so that the centre of the crossing is situated 9 metres west of the western kerb line of Priory Court E17. Associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times, will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing extending westward to the common boundary of Nos. 204 and 206 Wl and eastwards to the western kerb line of Priory Court.

3. Any person desiring to object to or to make any other representation with regards to the measures set out above should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS or by emailing:

4.
