ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1984 SECTIONS 6 AND 45 COPPERMILL REGION - PROVISION OF "AT ANY TIME" WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND REDUCTION OF PARKING SPACE AT JUNCTIONS (ALL E17 ROADS) (T12(21))

ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1984 SECTIONS 6 AND 45 COPPERMILL REGION - PROVISION OF "AT ANY TIME" WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND REDUCTION OF PARKING SPACE AT JUNCTIONS (ALL E17 ROADS) (T12(21))
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The general effect of the Orders to compliment the Installation of Copenhagen style crossings and other public realm Improvements at junctions would be to:

(a) In Coppermill Lane (CL)- north and south sides
a convert the single yellow line waiting restrictions either side of its junctions with -

i. Leucha Road - between Nos. 107 and 119 CL; and

ii. Haroldstone Road between Nos. 92 and 96 CL

to double yellow line "at any time' waiting restrictions;

b. north side - extend the double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions situated across the entrance to Douglas Eyre Sports Centre eastward to a point opposite Nos. 171 and 173 CL and westward to a point outside the north-east boundary of No. 150 CL. This will also remove sections of parking space on both sides of the junction to accommodate the double yellow line extensions by the same distance;

c. south side - extend the double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions situated outside No. 185 CL eastward to a point 2,5 metres east of the common boundary of Nos. 181 and 183 CL. This will also remove a section of parking space on outside Nos. 181 and 183 to accommodate the double yellow line extensions by the same distance;

d. east and west sides - provide double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions between its junction with its main east to west arm northward to its boundary with Douglas Eyre Sports Centre;

(b) Leucha Road - both sides - convert the single yellow lines and sections of parking space outside the flank walls of Nos. 109 and 115 CL to double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions so that the double yellow lines extend from its junction with Coppermill Lane south­east for a distance of 13. 5 metres;

(c) Haroldstone Road (HRL)-

a. convert single yellow line waiting restrictions:

i. both sides - outside the flank walls of Nos. 92B and 94 CL

ii. east side - between Nos. 7 and 11 HRL

iii. east side - between Nos 29A and 33 HRL

to double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions;

b. both sides - convert single yellow line waiting restrictions and sections of parking space outside Nos. 92B and 94 CL to double yellow "at any time" waiting restrictions so that the double yellow lines extend from its junction with Coppermill Lane, northward for a distance of 11 metres

(d) Morland Road-

a. south-west side - extend double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions from its junction with Coppermill Lane so that the double yellow line extends south-east for a distance of 17 metres;

b. north-east side - extend double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions from its junction with Coppermill Lane so that the double yellow line extends south-east for a distance of 9.5 metres;

this will also remove a sections of parking space on both sides to accommodate the double yellow line extensions

(e) Rensburg Road-

a. north-east side - reduce permit parking space outside No. 3 Rensburg Villas by 1 metres and move the disabled persons parking space in the same location south-eastward by the same distance, all to accommodate an extension of the double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions by 1 metres from its junction with Coppermill Lane south-eastward;

b. both sides - extend double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions from its junction with Salop Road so that the double yellow line extends north-west for a distance of 12 metres. This will also remove sections of permit parking space to accommodate the double yellow line extension;

(f) Chester Road- north-east side - extend double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions from its junction with

a. Salop Road so that the double yellow line extends north-west for a distance of 12 metres; and

b. Coppermill Lane so that the double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions extends south-east for a distance of 12 metres;

these will also remove a sections of parking space to accommodate the double yellow line extension;

(g) York Road- north-east side - extend double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions from its junction of Salop Road so that the double yellow line extends north-west for a distance of 12 metres this will also remove a section of parking space to accommodate the double yellow line extension;

(h) Cassiobury Road- north-east side - extend double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions from its junction with Coppermill Lane so that the double yellow line extends south-east for a distance of 17.5 metres this will also remove a section of parking space to accommodate the double yellow line extension;

(i) Hazelwood Road - convert single yellow line waiting restrictions and sections of parking space to double yellow "at any time" waiting restrictions on the:

a. north side - outside Nos. 11a HRL so that the double yellow lines extend from its junction with Haroldstone Road east for a distance of 15 metres; and

b. south side - outside Nos. 9 HRL so that the double yellow lines extend from its junction with Haroldstone Road east for a distance of 13 metres; and

(j) Glenthorne Road - convert single yellow line waiting restrictions and sections of parking space to double yellow "at any time" waiting restrictions on the:
a. north side - outside Nos. 31 HRL so that the double yellow lines extend from its junction with Haroldstone Road east for a distance of 14 metres; and

b. south side - outside Nos. 29 HRL so that the double yellow lines extend from its junction with Haroldstone Road east for a distance of 8 metres;

2. Any person desiring to object to or to make any other representation with regards to the Orders set out above should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS or by emailing:

quoting reference T12(21) -Coppermill parking and waiting changes at junctions by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

3.
