PARKING PLACES ORDER 2021 THE HARINGEY (PEMBERTON ROAD N8) TEMPORARY WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTIONS ORDER 2021
FURTHER TO A NOTICE: Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 8 March 2021.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Council of the London Borough of Haringey has made the Temporary Traffic Order(s) described below under S14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (the Act):-
To temporarily suspend a section of Resident Permit Holders only Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm Zone GLA and replace with No Stopping Mon-Fri 8-9.30am and 3-4pm on School Entrance Markings and No Waiting Mon-Fri 9.30am to 3pm and 4pm to 6.30pm on Pemberton Road N4, SOUTH EAST SIDE: from a point approximately 3.4 metres south west of the shared property boundary of No.75 & No.73 Pemberton Road, south west for approximately 40 metres.
Parking place No.108 of Schedule 1 of The Haringey (Green Lanes CPZJ (Parking Places) Order 2007 will be temporary suspended as detailed above. The Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2012 will be temporarily amended to include the above no waiting restrictions.
These traffic measures are undertaken under "the Act" and in conjunction with additional safety improvements funded by national government as part of the response to the Covid-19 situation, designed to allow people more space to social distance as people move around the Borough. South Harringay School will open an additional entrance to provide an in/out system at the school for parents/carers collecting children.
The temporary traffic measures under this notice will remain on site from 29 March 2021 and may stay in force for 18 months. During this period of time a decision will be taken as to whether to make these measures permanent at this point a full public consultation will be undertaken.
The provisions of this Notice shall apply only at such times and as directed by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
