Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Plc has applied in respect of the Kings Arms 18 High Street, Calne SN11 0BS for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for: This is an application to extend the hours for the sale of alcohol and late night refreshment as fol­lows:- Friday and Saturday from 10:00h until 02:00h the following morning (current permission until 01:00h the following morning). Sunday from 12:00h until 00:00h (current permission until 23:00h). To extend the hours for live music, recorded music and performance of dance as follows:- Friday and Saturday from 17:00h until 02:00h the following morning (current permission 17:00h until 01:00h the following morning). Sunday from 11:00h until 00:00h (current permission 11:00h until 23:00h). To add the following condition "There will be no entry or re-entry (with the exception of customers partaking in a cigarette outside) after midnight on any day".

Should this application be granted as applied for, to remove the existing non standard timings and seasonal variations and replace with the following:- "To permit sale of alcohol on Monday of Bank Holiday weekend/, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day (if these days do not fall upon a Friday or a Saturday) at anytime between 10:00hrs and 01:00hrs the following morning. Also, from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve until the start of permitted hours on New Year's Day." All other hours, activities and conditions are to remain unchanged by this application.

Representations to this application must be made in writing, by end of 1 July 2014, to the Wiltshire Council Licensing Authority at Monkton Park/Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 1ER where the register of licensing applications can be inspected between office hours.

It is an offence on summary conviction, to knowingly or reck­lessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine for which is, £5000.
