NORFOLK ROAD AND NORTHFIELD ROAD EN3 -TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Norfolk Road, EN3, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Norfolk Road and Northfield Road EN3) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from

(i) entering or proceeding on Norfolk Road, EN3 between the common boundaries of Nos. 40/42 and its junction with Northfield Road, as and when directed by signage.

(ii) waiting and loading on Northfield Road, EN3, at it's junction with Norfolk Road EN3 on all 4 corners; and

(iii) waiting and loading between the common boundaries of Nos.40/42 to a point in line with the southern flank wall of No. 52 on both side of the road as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions will come into operation on 4 April 2022 and will continue in force for 5 days or until works are completed.
