SMITHSON ROAD N17 & NIGHTINGALE ROAD N22 -PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO VEHICLE CROSSOVER AND AMENDMENT TO PARKING PROVISION

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the order:

(i) To introduce double yellow line operating at any time on the north side of Smithson Road N17 outside No. 24 a length of 4.8 metres.

(ii) To remove 4.8 metres of permit holders parking place on the north side of Smithson Road N17 outside of No. 24, to facilitate the installation of the vehicle crossover and introduction of double yellow line as detailed above.

(iii) To introduce double yellow line operating at any time on the north side of Nightingale Road N22 outside No. 38 a length of 4.8 metres.

(iv) To remove 4.8 metres of permit holders parking place on the north side of Nightingale Road N22 outside of No. 38, to facilitate the installation of the vehicle crossover and introduction of double yellow line as detailed above.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Order and plans showing the locations and effects of the Order may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Order, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal
