1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) have made The Enfield (Prescribed Routes) (No. 8) Traffic Order 2022 under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order referred to in paragraph 1 of this Notice will be to:

(a) make provision for the issue of 'BOW permits that would exempt vehicles from the existing no motor vehicles restriction in Warwick Road, at the boundary between Nos. 3 and 5; and

(b) make provision to exempt Dial-a-Ride vehicles from the existing no motor vehicles restriction in Warwick Road, at the boundary between Nos. 3 and 5.

NOTE: A notice detailing the above measures was published on 23 February 2022 and also included proposals relating to the existing road closure in Maidstone Road at its junction with Warwick Road. The decision whether or not to implement that aspect of the proposals has been deferred.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 27th June 2022 and any other relevant documents, can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, on Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 5pm inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
