PROPOSED INTRODUCTION/AMENDMENT/REMOVAL OF WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES BATCH 02 - VARIOUS LOCATIONS

THE HARINGEY (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 29) ORDER 2022 - T15


Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 27th June 2022 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders would be:-


1. To convert -

(i) Existing disabled parking bay to dedicated disabled parking bay outside no. 21 Dunloe Avenue, N17 (bay to measure 6.6 metres in length);

(ii) One existing permit parking space at the eastern end of Romney Close, N17 to a disabled parking bay;

(iii) Existing single yellow lines on Romney Close, N17 to double yellow lines;

(iv) Existing permit parking space on the northern side of Romney Close, N17 (rear of no. 72/74 Asplins Road) to double yellow lines;

(v) Existing permit parking to single yellow line operating at CPZ hours outside no. 2 Warham Road, N4 ( a length of 1 metre);

(vi) Existing Disabled parking bay to a dedicated disabled parking bay outside no. 21 Dunloe Avenue, N17 (bay to measure 6.6 metres in length);

(vii) Existing permit holders only bay adjacent no. 1 Earlham Grove, N22, to shared use permit holders operating at cpz hours and pay by phone with a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return within 1 hours (bay to measure 5 metres in length);

2. To install -

(i) Double yellow lines on Baden Road, N8, alongside no. 14 Clovelly Road, N8 (measuring 5.2 metres in length);

(ii) Double yellows lines on both sides of Wallls Mews, N22, from its junction with Courcy Road to its junction with Brampton Park Road (a length of 47.5 metres each side);

(iii) Double yellow lines on Courcy Road, N22, both sides of its junction with Wallis Mews, N22 (a length of 2.7 metres each side);

3. To relocate -

(i) Existing dedicated disabled bay outside no. 17 Dunloe Avenue, N17 to outside of no. 19 Dunloe Avenue, N17 (bay to measure 6.6 metres in length);

4. To remove -

(i) Single yellow line on Courcy Road, N22, at its junction with Wallis Mews, N22 (a length of 7.5 metres);

5. To Extend

(i) Existing Seven Sisters controlled parking zone to include Eleanor Close, N17;

(ii) Existing Bruce Grove West controlled parking zone boundary to include 126 Philip Lane N15, therefore excluding this location from the existing Seven Sisters Controlled Parking;

(iii) To make the following map based changes (paper based exercise to amend traffic order, no changes to be made on site);

(i) Install Double yellow lines on the east side of Amber Mews, N22, from its junction with Brampton Park Road, to a point in line with rear of the common property boundary of nos. 91 and 93 High Road;

(ii) Install Double yellow lines on the west side of Amber Mews, N22, from its junction with Brampton Park Road, to a point 3.4 north of the common property boundary of nos. 89 and 91 High Road;

(iii) Install No waiting Monday to Friday, 2pm to 3pm, (single yellow lines) outside Highgate Edge, Great North Road, N2 (measuring a length of 39.9 metres);

(iv) Install double yellow lines outside opposite no. 78 Great North Road, N2 (measuring a length of 5.8 metres);

(v) Install double yellow lines outside opposite no. 66 and 68 Great North Road, N2 (measuring a length of 16.7 metres);

(vi) Install double yellow lines outside opposite no. 58 Great North Road, N2 (measuring a length of 10 metres);

(vii) Install double yellow lines outside Blenheim Lodge Great North Road, N2 (measuring a length of 10 metres);

(viii) Install a disabled parking bay outside no. 68 Great North Road, N2 (measuring 8.5 metres in length);

(ix) Install single yellow lines operating Event Days Monday to Friday, 5.30 to 10pm, Saturdays Sundays & public holidays 10am-7pm outside nos. 285 to 293, 283 and opposite no. 330 to 293 White Hart Lane, N17

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 25th July 2022.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
