Various Roads in Haringey, Temporary Road Closures andTraffic Restrictions due to the Red Bull Soap Box Racing Family Event

1. The Council of the London Borough of Haringey hereby gives notice that to facilitate the staging of the Red Bull Soap Box Racing Family event, has made an Order under Section 16(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Order would be:

General Effect of Order

Road closure of Alexandra Palace Way/South Terrace N22 - The entire length through the park. Suspension of parking and introduction of no  waiting/no loading on Alexandra Park Road N22:

i. Both sides: between the south-western kerb line of Bedford Road and a point 20 metres southwest of that kerb line;

ii. Both sides Between No.'s 1-31 and No.'s 171 and 173.

iii. Between No.'s 150 - 158 & up to No. 135a on the other side from Junction

iv. Between No.'s 163-158 & No.'s 198-210 from Island.

Suspension of parking and introduction of no waiting/no loading on Palace Gates Road north side between its junctions with Crescent Road and Bedford Road and the south side: between its junctions with Bedford Road and the common boundary.
Suspension of parking and introduction of no waiting/no loading on north east side of The Avenue N22 opposite No.'s 1-43

General Effect of Order
Road closure of Bedford Road N22 - from the boundary of Alexandra Palace way along its length until the roundabout with Palace Gate Road roundabout.
Suspension of parking and introduction of no waiting/no loading on Bedford Road N22

i. Both sides: between its junction with Palace Gates Road and Alexandra Palace Way.

ii. Railway fence line outside Cottages 27-15

3. The prohibitions and restrictions specified in Article 2 above, shall only apply during such times and to such extent as may be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or directed by a police constable in uniform

or a civil enforcement officer. Essential access for residents will be maintained as far as possible during the period of the road closure. Diversion routes related to the closures will be signed as appropriate.
4. Any persons having a query or representation regarding the above measures should contact Traffic Management Group on 020 8489 1300.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
