AMENDMENT TO WAITING RESTRICTIONS & INTRODUCTION OF FREE PARKING PLACE AND EXTENSION OF RAISED TABLE ON CROSS LANE N8

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 24th June 2022 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999.

The general effect of the Orders
would be:-

1.
To replace the existing single yellow line (No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm) with double yellow line (No Waiting at Any Time) on Cross Lane N8 WEST SIDE: From a point 42.5 metres north of the junction with High Street, north for a distance of 56 metres.

2. To introduce Free Parking Place on Cross Lane N8 EAST SIDE: From 12.2 metres north of the southern building-line of No. 7 Cross Lane, north 18.3 metres.

3. To introduce double yellow line (No Waiting at Any Time) restrictions on Cross Lane N8 EAST SIDE:
1) From 43 metres north of its junction with High Street, north for 24 metres.
2) From the south-eastern building-line of No. 7 Cross Lane, north for 4.2 metres.
3) From 12 metres south of the southern building-line of the substation, south for 3.5 metres.
4) From the northern building-line of the substation, south for 7 metres.

As part of the works the raised table on Cross Lane N8 will be extended as detailed below:

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 30th June 2022.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
