Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke a Clearway Restriction (No Stopping At Any time) and replace with a Red Route Restriction (No Stopping At Any time) on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring

Road Description

Williamsburg East side from the junction with the A120 (St Nicholas Avenue- roundabout) for a distance of 126.8 metres in a

Harwich & southerly then easterly direction.
Parkeston West side from the junction with the A120
(St Nicholas roundabout) for a distance of 26.0 metres south.
West side 39.0 metres south from the junction with the A120 (St Nicholas roundabout) for a distance of 138.6 metres in a southerly then easterly direction.
2. To introduce Permit Holders Only Restrictions (Zone W1) on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring - all residential properties in West Street, Martello Road and Church Road will be able to purchase permits to park in Zone W1 as well as Essex Police who are stationed in Martello Road.

Church Road- West side 6.7 metres north from the junction with Walton on the Victoria Road for a distance of 24.2 metres north Naze West side 7.0 metres south from the junction with

Station Street to a point level with the boundaries

3. To revoke No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring

Road Description

Church Road- West side 7.0 metres south from the junction with Walton on the Station Street
Naze West side 3.7 metres north from the junction with

Victoria Road
4. To revoke No Waiting 9am-6pm 1st June-31st August and replace with No Waiting At Any time on the following length of road in the District of Tendring

Church Road- East side from a point level with the boundary of Walton on the numbers 26 & 28 Church Road for a distance of Naze approximately 50.5 metres south

5. To revoke No Waiting 9am-6pm 1st June-31st August on the following length of road in the District of Tendring

Road Description

Church Road- West side from a point level with the boundary of

Walton on the numbers 3 & 5 Church Road for a distance of

Naze approximately 37.5 metres south

6. To revoke Limited Waiting 8am-6pm 2 Hours No Return Within 2 Hours and replace with Resident Permit Holders Only (Zone MS1) on the following length of road in the District of Tendring -The following properties will be able to purchase a maximum of 2 parking permits and unlimited visitor permits; 83, 89, 91, 93 &

95 Mill Road, St Osyth
Road Description

Mill Street- North side from the eastern boundary wall of 93 Mill St Osyth House south westerly for a distance of 9.8 metres

North side 14.3 metres from the eastern boundary wall of 93 Mill House for a distance of 6.0 metres in a south westerly direction
7. To introduce Resident Permit Holders Only (Zone MS1) on the following length of road in the District of Tendring - The following properties will be able to purchase a maximum of 2 parking permits and unlimited visitor permits; 83, 89, 91, 93 & 95 Mill Road, St Osyth

12. To introduce No Waiting At Any time on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring

Road Description

Old School West side from the junction with Bromley Road for a

Lane-Elmstead distance of 30.4 metres north

Market East side from the junction with Bromely Road for a

distance of 27.8 metres north
Bromley Road- North side 20.0 metres east from the junction with

Elmstead Old School Lane to a point 18.0 metres south west

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TM235 317 to revision 3, TM240 317 to revision 3, TM240 315 to revision 3, TM250 215 to revision 9, TM250 212 to revision 8 & TM115 152 to revision 1, TM085 167 to revision 3, TM085 165 to revision 3, TM170 152 to revision 14, TM060 242 to revision 3 and inserting tile number TM140 300.
