PUBLIC NOTICE - HARINGEY COUNCIL PROPOSED DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES, AND PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO, AND REMOVAL OF, EXISTING DISABLED PARKING PLACES - VARIOUS ROADS
THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO *) ORDER 201* AND VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AMENDMENT ORDERS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and Introduce footway parking places, exempted under the GLC General Powers Act 1974.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: -

(I) Introduce new disabled persons' parking places, at a maximum of 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons' 'blue badge' would be permitted to park, (unless otherwise stated) either outside of, or alongside, the following properties: -
33 Barrington Road N8, Campsbourne Road N8, along the flank wall of Nos. 10 to 24 Newland House, 25 Chandos Road N17, 74, Courtman Road N17, 65 Crowland Road N15, 43 Daleview Road N15, 11 Dunloe Avenue N17, 26 Elmhurst Road N17, 61 Fenton Road N17, Fortismere Avenue N10 - along the flank wall of Fairport, 167 Gladesmore Road N15, 46 Hale Gardens N17, 15 Hampstead Lane N6, 29 & 31 Handsworth Road N17, 147 Higham Road N17,1 Howard Road N15, 30 & 32 Kimberley Road N17, 7 Kings Road N17, 50 Lascotts Road N22, 95 Mount Pleasant Road N17, 217 Mount Pleasant Road N17, 24 Myddleton Road N22, Pages Hill N10, along the flank wall of 45 Pages Lane, 141 & 207 Riseley Avenue N17, 1, 126 and 156 Rivulet Road N17, 113 Seaford Road N15, 126 Sherringham Avenue N17, 43 Springfield Avenue N10, 43 Steeds Road N10, 19 The Avenue N10, outside Tetherdown Hall, Tetherdown N10, opposite 135 The Roundway N17, 24 Waltheof Avenue N17, 258 White Hart Lane N17, 37 Wiltshire Gardens N4 and 50 Woodside Gardens N17;
(ii) extend the length of an existing disabled parking bay outside of 6 Heybourne Road N17;

(iii) remove disabled parking bays outside (unless otherwise stated) of the following properties: -

117 Allison Road N8, 16 Bedford Road N8, Campsbourne Road N8, opposite Rhein House, 80 Clonmell Road N17, 42 Courtman Road N17, 48 Courtman Road N17, 10 Felixstowe Road N17, 18 to 26 Fortis Green Road N10, 2 Glebe Road N8, 29 Glebe Road N8, 19 Harvey Road N8,11 Highgate Avenue N6, Higham Road N17, side of 108 Downhills Park Road, 85 Higham Road N17, 20 Leith Road N22, 284/286 Lymington Avenue N22, 91 Lyndhurst Road N22, 63 Meads Road N22,101 Nelson Road N8, 53 Palace Road N8, 35/37 Perth Road N22, 20 Ranelagh Road N17, 6 & 11 Rectory Gardens N8,18 Springfield Road N15,36 Teynton Terrace N17,52 Thorold Road N22, 73/75 Tower Gardens Road N17, 126 Woodfield Way N11 and 30 Woodside Road N22 (2 bays).
3. Copies of the proposed Orders, and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders, and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/ traffic_orders.

4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 5th Floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or to traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk within 21 days from the date of this Notice.
