THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES (MEMBERS' ALLOWANCES) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2003
SCHEME OF MEMBERS' ALLOWANCES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Regulation 16(1)(b) of the above Regulations, of the Scheme of Members' Allowances for the year commencing 1 April 2018. The Scheme provides for the following allowances:-
(1) Basic Allowance payable to each Councillor

(2) Special Responsibility Allowances:-

(i) Leader of the Council

(ii) Deputy Leader of the Council

(iii) Members of the Cabinet

(iv) Chairmen of Overview and Scrutiny Panels

(v) Vice-Chairmen of Overview and Scrutiny Panels

(vi) Chairman of the Audit and Governance Committee

(vii) Vice-Chairman of the Audit and Governance Committee

(viii) Chairmen of Planning and Licensing Boards

(ix) Vice-Chairmen of Planning and Licensing Boards

(x) Chairman of Appeals Board

(xi) Vice-Chairman of Appeals Board

(xii) Chairman of Standards Committee

(xiii) Vice-Chairman of Standards Committee

(xiv) Members of the Planning and Licensing Boards (excluding the Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen)

(xv) Members of the Planning Board Agenda Group (excluding the Chairman and Vice-Chairman)

(xvi) Members of the Fostering Assessment Panel

(xvii) Leaders of Political Groups
