Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Orders 2018 Footpaths 33,36,37,55 Lawford
On 6 June 2018 Essex County Council confirmed the above orders made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the orders as confirmed as shown on the order maps is to divert:
1) A part length of Footpath 36 commencing from a point on the west side of the public highway known as Church Hill heading across

a meadow in a west north westerly direction for 96 metres to reach a point by the existing kissing gate, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running along the boundary of the meadow in a generally northerly direction for 42 metres to a point in the north east corner if the meadow then continuing along the boundary of the meadow in a west south westerly direction for a final distance of 84 metres to the aforementioned kissing gate.
2) A part length of Footpath 37 commencing from a point within the car park west of Church Hill heading across the car park through the existing kissing gate across a meadow in a south westerly direction for 440 metres to reach a point by the existing kissing gate and wooded area, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running across the car park then at a point south of the existing kissing gate heading between the meadow boundary fence and woods in a south westerly direction for 380 metres to a point where the wooded area extends slightly further northwards where it continues along an existing track within the wooded area in a south westerly direction for a final distance of 62 metres to the aforementioned kissing gate.

3) A part length of Footpath 33 commencing from a point on the west side of Dedham Road heading across an arable field in a generally westerly direction for 508 metres to reach a point at a corner of the headland, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running along the headland

in a south westerly direction for 507 metres to a point in the south west corner of the field then continuing along the headland in a north north westerly direction for a final distance of 168 metres to the aforementioned corner of the headland.
4) The entire length of Footpath 55 commencing from the aforementioned point on the west side of Dedham Road heading across an arable field in a north westerly direction for 294 metres to where it terminates at Dedham Road, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running along the headland parallel to Dedham Road in a generally northerly direction for 175 metres to a point on the headland by a bend in Dedham Road then continuing along the headland in a generally westerly direction for 190 metres to the aforementioned termination point where it continues as a headland path in a west north westerly direction for a final distance of 148 metres to where it connects to Bridleway 49 Lawford.

A copy of the Orders and the Order maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. The alternative routes come into force on 4 July 2018, and the old routes shall be stopped up with effect from 11 July 2018, but if a person aggrieved by the orders wants to question their validity, or that of any provision contained in them, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 22 June 2018 make an application to the High Court.

(Heath Road, Mistley & Windmill Road, Bradfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Heath Road, Mistley and Windmill Road, Bradfield in the District of Tendring from the junction with Straight Road to the junction with Harwich Road, a distance of approximately 1025m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2251557 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Windmill Road, Mill Lane, The Street, Station Road, Ship Hill, Brickmans Hill, Harwich Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 15th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Gordon Road, Dovercourt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gordon Road, Dovercourt in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Hall Lane to its junction with Wick Lane, a distance of approximately 480m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2252135 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Hall Lane, Wick Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 29th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Tendring) (Temporary Suspension of One Way) & Clearway) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily suspend the one way restrictions in various roads in the District of Tendring as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 15th June 2018, exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
