(AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2018 THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2018 T15
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 21st June 2018 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to: -
(a) remove an existing residents' permit holders parking space and replace it with single yellow line waiting restrictions operating at zone hours, in order to facilitate the installation of a vehicle crossover opposite No. 5 Bradley Road N22;
(b) remove 5 parking spaces located outside No. 62 Jacksons lane N6 and replace them with double yellow line waiting restrictions operating "at any time";
(c) remove a doctors parking place located outside Allenson House, Weston Park N8 and replace it with a shared permit holders/pay by phone parking place operating at zone hours;
(d) remove a disabled parking place located outside Peel Mansions, Fortis Green Avenue N2;
(e) introduce new disabled persons' parking places, operating 'at any time', at a maximum of 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons' 'blue badge' will be permitted to park outside of the following properties: 6 & 8 Belmont Road N15, 21 & 23 Gaskell Road N6 and 125 Hewitt Road N8.
3. Copies of the Orders referred to above, which will come into force on 25th June 2018, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, at www.haringey.gov.uk/ traffic_orders.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
