LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON PROPOSED WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION)

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Orders would be to further amend existing Merton waiting and loading restriction orders so that:-

(a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for 20 minutes) would be prohibited at any time:-

(i) at the junctions listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice; or

(ii) in the lengths of roads listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice;

(b) the waiting restrictions relating to Brookfields Avenue, Riverside Drive, Dennis Park Crescent, SW20, Hayward Close and Stane Close, would be revoked and re-enacted to the current on-street layout;

(c) waiting restrictions would be removed in the lengths of Blenheim Road specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

4. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/WR2018B2, no later than 27 July2018.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON PROPOSED 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT IN VARIOUS ROADS IN THE BENEDICT PRIMARY SCHOOL AREA AND A SPEED TABLE IN BENEDICT ROAD The Merton (20 MPH Limit) (No. *) Traffic Order 201*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, propose to make the above mentioned Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour in the full lengths of the roads specified in Schedule 1 to this notice.

3. The Council also propose to install a raised table extending the full width of the road with a maximum height of 75 millimetres above road level and an on-off ramp gradient no steeper than 1:20 under section 90 A-F of the Highways Act 1980 at the location specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

4. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the lengths of roads to which the Order relates and shows the raised tables can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

5. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order or the proposed raised table should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX 5DX or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting the reference ES/BELGRAVE WALK 20MPH SCHOOL no later than 27 July 2018.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 84 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the "Speed Limit" Order would be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour in Whatley Road, between its junction with Martin Way and its junction with Mawson Close.

3. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order would be to further

amend the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for twenty minutes) would be prohibited at any time in the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
4. The Council also propose to install raised tables extending the full width of the road with a maximum height of 75 millimetres above road level and an on-off ramp gradient no steeper than 1:20, under section 90 A-F of the Highways Act 1980 at the locations specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

(N.B. The existing speed table at the junction of Whatley Avenue with Botsford Road would be replaced with a junction table.)
5. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan which indicates the lengths of road to which the Orders relate and shows the raised tables can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Order.

6. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Orders or the proposed raised tables should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting the reference ES/WHATLEY AVENUE SCHOOL SAFETY no later than 27 July 2018.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water supply installation and associated works in Denmark Road they intend to make an Order, the effects of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the worksi­te) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait,

load or unload in Denmark Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 14 and 15 Denmark Road and the common boundary of Nos. 17 and 18 Denmark Road; and
