HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE PARK LANE AND WORCESTER AVENUE N17 - PROPOSED PART TIME ROAD CLOSURES AND AMENDMENT TO EXISTING ROAD CLOSURE
THE HARINGEY (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 2) ORDER 2018 T47
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harlngey on 26th July 2018 made the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order, In relation to forthcoming events to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, will be to:-
(a) Introduce a part time road closure in Worcester Avenue N17 at its junction with the access road to St. Paul's and All Hallows' School, operating on event days, between 1 hour before the start of the event and 1 hour after the end of the event;
(b) introduce a part time road closure in Park Lane N17 at its junction with Vicarage Road operating on event days, between 3 hours before the start of the event and 1 hour after the end of the event;
(c) amend the operation of the existing road closure in Worcester Avenue N17 at its junction with Northumberland Park Community School so that it would operate at any time on non event days and on event days would operate between 8 a.m. and 1 hour after the end of the event.
The road closures will be operated by means of rising bollards and will allow accredited vehicles and emergency vehicles access during their hours of operation
The Order will allow for any, or all, of the closures to be temporarily lifted in the case of an emergency or at the direction of the metropolitan police.
3. Copies of the Order referred to above, which will come into force on 30th July 2018, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation
to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
