Following its premiere in autumn 2017 and sell-out shows across the UK and Italy, Motionhouse brings Charge, the company’s latest electrifying dance-circus production, to the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch on Tuesday, June 11.

Charge features a fearless cast, who lift, soar and jump. Crackling with extraordinary acrobatics, stunning choreography and amazing 3D projections, audiences will be on the edge of their seats.

In Charge, art and science collide. Dance-circus, film and music take audiences on a journey deep into the human body, tracing the extraordinary story of electricity in our lives.

Motionhouse’s Artistic Director Kevin Finnan, MBE, said: “Charge takes my interest in contemporary themes about the world we live in one step further. I was inspired by a specific area of scientific research - our relationship with energy and the role electricity plays in the human body.”

Kevin Finnan, also known for his choreography of the London 2012 Paralympic Games’ Opening Ceremony, worked closely with the dancers and creative team to bring his vision of Charge to life.
