Burglars stole thousands of pounds of electrical equipment from an Ilford school.
It happened at Woodlands Infant School in Loxford Lane, Ilford, shortly before 6pm on Saturday, when intruders broke in through a ground floor window.
The school’s caretaker alerted police after discovering the school had been burgled when he went to open up on Monday morning.
The thieves got away with items worth around £8,900, including 11 laptops, 10 digital cameras and an iPad. They also stole £200.
All the items were used as teaching aids and are marked with the school’s name.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable James Yates at Ilford Burglary Squad on 0208 345 2680 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
