According to one “Hector Hub” writing in the latest issue of De Havilland Engine News, 100 bricks vanished from a pile in a “de Hav” Leavesden assembly shop recently. The “nuclear chaps”, worried lest more of their bricks went, chalked up on the rest of the pile this message: “Danger – radioactive – please handle with gloves!”
So effective did it prove, within two shifts even the bricks which had so mysteriously vanished, just as mysteriously reappeared.
