A man and a woman have been charged after a man was stabbed in a residential road.
Police were called to reports of an altercation in Lowbrook Road, Ilford at 1.21pm on Monday (November 9).
London Ambulance Service treated a 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old man for facial injuries at the scene.
The 27-year-old remains in an east London hospital in a critical condition.
Dean Gayle, 27, of Hamfrith Road, Stratford has been charged with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.
Tanya Gibbs, 23, of Lowbrook Road, Ilford has been charged with two counts of Actual Bodily Harm.
Both have been remanded in police custody to appear before Barkingside Magistrates Court today (November 11).
