"It's the first time I've cashed in on my name," confesses Scarlet Page, daughter of Jimmy, talking about how she managed to photograph more than 25 of the world's greatest guitarists for her exhibition Resonators.

"But I think after 20 years that's allowed."

She travelled across the globe and persuaded legends such as Paul McCartney, Jeff Beck, Brian May, Hank Marvin, Mark Knopfler, Wilko Johnson, Jack White, Nile Rodgers and Noel Gallagher to go in front of her lens over a two year period.

A selection of the showstopping images have now gone on display at Proud Camden, including a photograph of her famous father, Jimmy Page, founder of the rock band Led Zeppelin.

The 43-year-old, who can be seen in the 1976 Zeppelin movie The Song Remains the Same with her French model mother Charlotte Martin, says: "I had a really normal upbringing. It wasn't particularly rock 'n roll. My dad was touring a lot and I was going to school and I was happy when he came home.

"I was 16 before I realised they were quite good."

The mother-of-two, who was born in London but now lives in Pangbourne, was happy to utilise her dad's connections for this project as it is in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, a cause close to her heart after the disease claimed the lives of two people close to her.

Scarlet has already exhibited her work at venues such as ArtHouse in Crouch End and sales of the original limited edition colour prints have already raised thousands of pounds for the charity.

This latest exhibition coincides with the launch of Scarlet's book Resonators, which she funded via kickstarter, and which features portraits of all the musicians as well as some 'outtakes'.

Until now the University of Westminster graduate has carved her own path of success in the world of photography, landing a job with prestigious rock photographer Ross Halfin and going on to shoot performers such as Beastie Boys, The Verve, Robbie Williams, The Darkness, Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, Stereophonics, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Placebo.

Amazingly she had been taking pictures of bands for almost 20 years before she was finally asked to shoot her father ‘officially’ for a Sunday newspaper. The resulting shot gave her the idea of portraits of other guitar legends and she tracked down musicians such as Paul Stanley, Joe Walsh, Mick Jones, Johnny Marr and Graham Coxon for the project.

Scarlet says: "It was hard work approaching all these famous people but I think my heritage may have opened a few doors and got them to take me more seriously.

"But I have funded it all myself and it has been tough but I can't complain, I've had amazing time."
