Pictures of a Walthamstow flat, decorated almost entirely with blue tiles, have gone viral after the apartment was listed for rent online.
The one-bedroom basement flat, in Pembroke Road, has been described as “wipe-clean”, due to the large tiles fitted to walls and floors throughout the property.
The apartment has been listed on spareroom.co.uk for the past week, with the landlord looking for £900 per month from any potential tenant.
However, anyone looking to cut down on household cleaning times who thought the flat may be a perfect solution will be bitterly disappointed.
The property’s letting agent, Muhammed Khan, revealed the tiling does not cover every room in the apartment.
Mr Khan said: “The bedroom is not tiled, you cannot see the bedroom in the pictures.
“When I went in to see the property, the decorators were working and they had put the bed in the living room.
“They were painting the room and I could not get in to take a picture, it does not mean you do not get a bedroom.
“We have not had much response to the advert yet, maybe that is the reason- I will have to upload a picture of the bedroom.”
