CONSERVATIONISTS learned how to improve their local green spaces.
The Friends of Wanstead Parklands teamed up with Epping Forest representatives for a visit to Woodberry Wetlands in Stoke Newington.
David Mooney of the London Wildlife Trust explained the importance of reed beds and the fundraising methods used to create them.
Reed beds could now be established at the western end of Wanstead Park’s Heronry Pond.
