Volunteers from McDonald’s restaurants chipped in to clean up Chingford as part of a project to fight litter.
A team of 14 workers from the fast food chain’s branches in Chingford, Waltham Abbey and Brimsdown took to the streets, collecting 20 bags of rubbish.
McDonald’s is supporting the Keep Britain Tidy campaign and has organised a number of clean-ups across the UK to tackle litter.
Local franchisee, John Loizou, said: “It was great to see everyone come together and help tidy up the area.”
