The UK’s first non-alcoholic brewery will unveil its new beer at the upcoming Mindful Drinking Festival later this month.
Nirvana Brewery in Argall Avenue, Leyton will launch Sutra IPA, the second in a series of 0.5 % beers at the festival in Old Sptialfields Market, E1.
Steve Dass, co-Founder of the brewery said: “We’re so excited to launch the new IPA and can’t wait to show it off at the Mindful Drinking Festival. Come and see us.”
Mr Dass opened the brewery last May after deciding to pursue an alternative lifestyle when he spent months living in the Himalayas.
Monthly ‘beer yoga’ sessions are held at the site in Leyton Industrial Estate for those looking for an escape from everyday life.
Nirvana follows the same standards of craftsmanship that define craft beer and do not use lactose to bulk up the drinks.
The Mindful Drinking Festival will take place on Friday and Saturday, November 24 and 25 from noon to 6pm.
