HUNDREDS of thankful mourners turned out to give thanks to those who gave their lives in the two World Wars.
A service of remembrance at the war memorial in Wanstead High Street on Sunday, November 12, saw the community pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
Air and police cadets marched through the high street and a Salvation Army band played at the memorial.
Mayor of Redbridge Linda Huggett laid a wreath down at the memorial.
