TEACHERS, parents and children packed a chapel to commemorate those who gave their lives in the two World Wars.
Pupils past at present of Bancroft’s School, Woodford Green, paid tribute to the sacrifice of former students who gave their lives in a Remembrance Day service in the chapel.
Two-hundred members of the School Combined Cadet Force and representatives of the Sea Scouts and Cubs also attended the service on Sunday, November 12.
The Combined Cadet Force marched along Whitehall Road and High Road before processing into the school grounds.
A wreath was laid at the school’s war memorial by RSM Ciaran Simpkins.
