An 18-year-old man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the stomach.
The victim was attached by a group of men armed with weapons in Mount Pleasant Road, Walthamstow shortly after 11pm on Thursday.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to reports of a group of males armed with weapons and an altercation in the street at Mount Pleasant Road, Walthamstow, at 11.14pm on Thursday, November 16.
“At the scene, an 18-year-old male was found suffering from a stab wound to the stomach.
“The injured male was taken to an east London hospital by London Ambulance Service.
“He is currently in a critical condition.
“There have been no arrests.”
Detectives from Waltham Forest are investigating and appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact them on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
