CORPORATE leaders raised thousands of pounds for a children’s hospice at a business lunch.

Female businesswomen from a range of sectors raised £11,415 for Haven House Children’s Hospice at their second annual Women in Business lunch.

Attendees at the Woodford Green charity’s event enjoyed lunch, a raffle and a panel’s discussion with the theme of “press for progress”.

The lunch, which took place on International Women’s Day, was held at the Royal Automobile Club in London.

Pushpinder Gill, director of income generation and marketing at Haven House, says: “It was very powerful to hear the different experiences of women who have pressed for progress in their respective industries.

''Our lunch was an opportunity to reaffirm the need for greater corporate equality and for guests to support life-limited children as part of International Women’s Day.”
