Pitch, the alfresco bar off Stratford High Street, opens again on March 29 after closing for the winter. It is promising “chilled outdoor vibes in a colourful urban setting”.
It will be lined with street food stalls, VIP booths and a craft-focused bar and have events from themed film screenings and evening classes, to party nights to weekly.
Open from Easter weekend right through to autumn, food will be served up by a trio of popular street food traders.
Ticos serves up gourmet hot dogs and slow-cooked beef ribs, KERB favourites The Gyoza Guys bring their dumplings to the table, while modern Greek specialists Kalimera offer sunshine and souvlaki. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available, alongside homemade churros and crepes from The Pitch Sweet Shack.
As the summer months roll in, Pitch is will unveil a massive 196 inch HD screen to create an affordable East London outdoor cinema.
When the World Cup kicks off this will also be screened.
