No injuries were reported following the incident
A ROBBER threatened a coffee shop worker with a piece of wood as they stole a laptop.
Police were called at around 6.55pm on Friday, March 9, to Costa in High Street, Wanstead, following reports of a robbery.
A staff member reported two or three men entering the back of the shop and stealing a laptop.
At this stage, one suspect threatened the employee with a piece of wood. He was uninjured.
No arrests have yet been made. Enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesman for Costa said there was an incident at the branch and that staff were unharmed.
