A man has died after a stabbing on a residential street in Walthamstow.
Police were called to Vallentin Road at around 9.50pm on Monday evening to reports a man had been injured.
Officers and London Ambulance Service paramedics attended the street and found man, believed to be in his 40s, suffering from a stab wound.
Despite attempts by emergency crews to save the man's life, he was pronounced dead at the scene at around 10.55pm.

The victim's next of kin has been informed, although formal identification of his body awaits. A post mortem examination will be held in due course.
Scotland Yard said a 36-year-old woman was arrested in east London at around 1am on Tuesday morning on suspicion of murder.
She remains in custody at an east London police station.
The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating the incident.
