THE CHAIRMAN of the Conservatives praised the party’s “bold vision” as he launched the local election campaign.

Brandon Lewis MP launched the 2018 Redbridge Conservative campaign at Valentines Mansion in Ilford on Sunday, March 18.

Mr Lewis was joined by candidates and supporters at the Mansion’s walled gardens as he hailed the start of the Tories’ bid to turn Redbridge blue.

The Tory chairman attacked Labour’s “reckless spending” since 2014 and labelled their time in office “four wasted years.”

Paul Canal, leader of Redbridge Conservatives says: “On May 3, Redbridge residents can chose between a bold, sustainable future that puts individuals, families, local businesses and the most needy at the heart of what the council does, or a 20 per cent hike in council tax, yet more pot holes, more debt and more wasteful spending under Labour.”
