A reality TV star is preparing to take a leap of faith and skydive to raise cash for a children’s charity.

Marcel Somerville of Chingford, a former Love Island contestant, will freefall at 120 mph for several thousand feet in aid of Barnardo’s.

The 32-year-old who is a former member of the hip hop group Blazin’ Squad will be joined by fellow celebrities Calum Best, Gabby Allen and Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and James Dunmore.

Mr Somerville said: “I’m so excited to be doing the skydive for Barnardo’s as it does such great work in supporting vulnerable children.

“I know it’s going to be nerve-wracking but brilliant as we’ll be raising money and awareness for such a good cause.”
