Transport for London (TfL) has launched a campaign to encourage Londoners to travel off-peak this summer.

The Wonderful World of Off-Peak campaign encourages Londoners to visit the capital’s attractions this summer after the usual, popular times.

The transport body has also partnered with magazine Time Out to create an ‘interactive cultural map’ so people can see which attractions are close to London’s Tube stations.

Attractions along the Elizabeth Line will be added later this year when it is launched in December 2018.

Justine Simons, the deputy mayor for culture and the creative industries, said: “I’d encourage all families to take advantage of TfL’s off-peak rates t get out and enjoy our capital this year.

“It’s no coincidence that four out of five visitors to London come for the culture. There is always something new to see or something exciting to discover, and our boroughs’ cultural scenes are truly flourishing.

“These new maps are a wonderful way of highlighting just how accessible some of London’s biggest attractions and hidden gems are.”

Off-peak fares apply on weekdays before 06:30 am, between 09:30 and 15:59, and after 19:00, as well as all day at weekends and on bank holidays.
