An anonymous trail setter has hidden painted stones in the forest.
The person, who contacted the Guardian Series under the name of J R, claimed to have found two pebbles while out cycling.
One bore a small, illegible inscription, the other a pink pig sniffing a flower.
The person has refused to say where the stone were found, but has urged walkers to keep their eyes peeled when waling through Epping Forest for more mysterious rocks.
Have you found a piggy pebble?
