Incredibly well organised fans of Christmas can stock up for the big day and support a charity.

West Essex and East Herts charity, St Clare Hospice, is hosting three Christmas fairs.

Attendees will be able to get a head start on the shopping while giving back to St Clare, which provides end of life support for people across the area.

Dani De’ath, community fundraising lead, said: “Why not start your Christmas shopping in the sensible month of November at one of our locally hosted festive fairs.

"There’s nothing more warming and joyous than a local Christmas fair in your community, especially when you know that your shopping will be raising much-needed funds for St Clare Hospice to help us provide our vital care and support, free of charge, to local people who need us.

“Our Christmas fayres are held annually and often offer a range of local artisan stalls, tea, cakes, raffles and so much more."

The fairs take place at: Lord Butler Leisure Centre in Saffron Walden on November 2 from 10am to 2pm, St Mary the Virgin Church in Little Hallingbury on November 9 from 9am to 1pm and Great Pardon Community Centre in Harlow on November 25 from 12.30pm to 4pm,
