A party for friends and associates was held when a natural cemetery and ceremonial park turned 10.

Colleagues and associates past and present gathered in GreenAcres Epping Forest to mark the woodland's decade anniversary.

The Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Epping along with chairman of Epping Forest District Council Cllr Richard Bassett and Derek Tringham, president of the Royal British Legion, showed their support.

Guests were treated to food and a musical spread courtesy of jazz band Jackie Free and the Chicagoans.

Deborah McNamara, park manager, said: “We were delighted with the turnout; it was a great honour to welcome so many of our friends and associates who have worked with GreenAcres Epping Forest over the last ten years to make our business a success, and assisted us in our aim of providing excellent service and diverse funeral options to our local community.

"We are now looking forward to the next ten years, and the decades beyond."
