A photographic club celebrated its 125 birthday with an exhibition and competition.
The Woodford and Wanstead Photographic Society marked the significant milestone with the 1893 Inter Club Competition at Wanstead House, with 60 people in attendance.
Six clubs competed for the 1893 Foundation Cup which commemorates the forming of the society on October 5, 1893.
With 48 images to chose a winner from the judge, the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain credited David Woods, had a difficult time.
In the end however, Chingford Camera Club took the honours.
Wanstead Councillor Sheila Bain opened the exhibition and said: "The society is a very active club and it was great to view so many wonderful photographs and talk to the photographers about their hobby."
The exhibition runs until October 19.
Mr Woods added: "The society put on an excellent competition and the photography standard throughout was very high.
"All the clubs should be very pleased with their efforts."
