Are you passionate about music, speech or drama and looking for a place to showcase your talents?

The Stratford and East London Music Festival offers people of all ages a unique opportunity to perform in front of their communities.

With over 70 singing classes alone, there’s sure to be one that appeals to all tastes - from classical, musical theatre, jazz, recitals, popular music and a class to perform a song that you have written yourself.

The festival also includes more than 50 speech and drama classes to choose from for individuals, duets and groups in categories such as poetry, acting, storytelling and humour.

Competitions for choirs, orchestras and bands will run on February 11 and 12 2019 at St Mary’s Church in High Road, South Woodford.

All other music, speech and drama classes will take place from February 18 to 23 at Forest School in College Place, Snaresbrook.

The last night of the festival will see up-and-coming musicians battle it out for the title of Young Musician of the Year (aged 11 to 17 years).
