The van of a company which prides itself on "being respectful" has been caught parked across two disabled parking bays.

On Saturday evening at 6.30pm an eagle eyed reader, who asked to remain anonymous, spotted a Period Homes Construction van left straddled across two parking bays in Epping Tesco.

The reader said: "Excellent parking right there from a local company.

"I wonder if they conduct their business in such a considerate manner.

"It is disgusting. Clearly a disabled persons would be unable to park there if they wanted."

Period Homes Construction are an Essex based company which maintains and builds properties.

On its website the company claims: "Our skilful team pride themselves on being respectful, polite, highly professional, efficient and always meeting deadlines."

The company did not respond to a request for comment.
