A pet rescue service has rehomed its first dog - and he's adorable.

Chingford Pet Rescue helped Archie the Jack Russel find his forever home.

He came to the centre, set up to help pets in the area, when his owner had a change in circumstances.

His new owners live in Barnet.

Dee Cooper who set up the charity said "I am so pleased for Archie.

"Upheaval for a pet can be upsetting but he is a hardy little fellow who adapted quickly and is now with his new family who adore him.

"It is a great feeling to know Chingford Pet Rescue made it happen, and I look forward to helping all the animals I can in the months to come."

Chingford Pet Rescue helps rehome cats, dogs and other small animals and helps pet owners on low incomes access veterinary care.

Money is raised by its online shop.
