A company that provided extras for Star Wars and a Harry Potter spinoff is auditioning for film hopefuls.

Casting agents, Uni-versal Extras, are on the hunt to find actors in Watford and the surrounding area.

People can audition at a free open casting event between 10am and 4pm at St Mary’s Church Hall in Church Street, Watford on Saturday.

People auditioning do not need any previous acting experience but must be over 16 and a half years of age and have the right to work in the UK.

Filming is due to take place in Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties in the coming months.

The casting agency has worked on some of the biggest films created in the UK such as Star Wars, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and television series Black Mirror.
