A hospital has been awarded for its gold standard of care for patients with autism.
King George Hospital, which is run by Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, was presented with the Autism Awareness Award by Robert Lamb.
Mr Lamb, an ambassador of the Redbridge Autism Awareness Roadshow (RAAR), praised staff at the hospital for making adjustments to the care they provide to patients with autism, giving them a better experience.
He also said that several people with autism had told him they received top-class care at the hospital in Goodmayes.
Before receiving the award, surprise inspections were carried out, staff completed an autism awareness day and the institution also had to pass an autism accessibility evaluation.
