It's a modern festive tradition - but the Coca Cola truck is not coming to east London or Essex this year.

The red truck, which tours England during Christmas, is controversial as campaigners say it promotes childhood obesity.

Nonetheless, it has been a popular attraction in Leyton over the last few years.

The nearest stop will not be in London, where it will be on December 8 and 9 for the Jingle Bell Ball.

At each stop, fans can project festive selfies across the side of the vehicle.

They will also be able to enjoy a 150ml can of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola Classic in a 'winter wonderland' setting.
