Do people not think it is outrageous in the sixth richest economy, that billions in benefits go unclaimed?
With 40 per cent of Pension Credit possibly unclaimed, meaning pensioners struggle unnecessarily, there has to be a national benefit take up campaign, with advice sector and council funding to make this happen.
As a benefits adviser I have raised untold amounts in unclaimed benefits. It reduces costs elsewhere, like the NHS, and education budgets.
Take up your benefits. You know it makes sense!
